We’ve always heard that we have great content for Autodesk products, and that the breadth of our content covers most individual and enterprise needs. But there is always a need for more content. My job is to ensure we have covered the features and functions of Autodesk products for most user applications. I always welcome anyone and everyone’s comments and recommendations. But through the years, I can say that there are really five key categories where the need for additional content exists. Some of this content will make it onto our development roadmap. Other content is so specialized, it’s important to first understand why it is needed and what problem it solves, in order to warrant its use within a highly productive workforce. The Luring Effect of “Custom Content” Many of our competitors, and even our internal team members, throw out the term “custom content” as the solution for solving a particular training need.
