5 Tips for RTC North America 2015 by Kyle Chumas 1. Keynote - My fi rst tip for any conference is always “Attend the Keynote”. Yes, you can probably watch it online or read about it later. But nothing beats being there and getting those inspirational butterfl ies. They help carry your excitement into the event and energize you for what can be a long few days. 2. Take a Revit Certifi cation - CADLearning and Lenovo have sponsored the RTC Certifi cation Lab. The number of sessions and seats is limited so contact RTC staff ASAP if you’re at all interested. These FREE certifi cation exams won’t last long, and who knows when you’ll have an opportunity to add Revit 2015 Certifi ed Professional to your resume next. 3. Catch the Programming Bug - That’s right Revit people, you too can become a programmer, even if you’re not a developer! The Revit API, programming around Revit, and Data analysis seem to be major themes in RTC sessions this year. You can see how fl exible APIs and automation is making it’s way into everything. 4. Compete! - RTC North America 2015 is running a competition for all registered attendees. You don’t have much time! Submit your work by July 21. See the Nation’s Capital - If you have time, and have not toured the city of Washington, DC, I highly recommend getting out to the National Mall, seeing some of the most iconic memorials, including Lincoln, Jefferson, WWII, Vietnam and so many more. And swing by Pennsylvania avenue to check out the White House, maybe you’ll see the president! 8 www.cadlearning.com
